Restaurant Manager Job Description

Delia's Canary Catering at Norwich City Football Club is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team on matchdays. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of up to 25 waiting and bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the efficient delivery of food and drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Food Hygiene: Ensure that food hygiene standards are consistently met, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Menu Knowledge: Possess excellent knowledge of our menu, including food and drinks options, to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage time to ensure that service is delivered within strict timeframes, maintaining a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in hospitality management, with a strong background in restaurant or bar management.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
