Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Procurement Specialist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and leading on strategic procurement and category management across designated clinical expenditure categories.

Main Duties

• Proactively manage all spend in allocated categories of expenditure.

• Ensure that category services are fit-for-purpose and suitable for stakeholders.

• Develop, implement, monitor, and review procurement/commercial strategies for allocated categories.

• Develop and maintain supplier relationship management.

• Project manage the tendering process from initial scoping through to contract award.

• Manage high-value strategic sourcing projects.

• Identify and manage risk throughout the procurement process.
