About the Role

As a highly skilled Accuracy Checking Technician at Boots, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of patient prescriptions. With a strong focus on regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction, you will lead your team to deliver exceptional service and care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accurately check patient prescriptions for regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide expert advice to patients on available medicines and products.
  • Deliver various services as needed by the store.
  • Build strong relationships with your Pharmacy team and inspire them to deliver high-quality care.
  • Assist with patient triage and distribute prescription handouts.
  • Take ownership of legal, safe, and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
  • Manage operational tasks, including stock replenishment, workload management, and controlled drug handling.

Requirements
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
  • Passion for coaching and leading a dispensary team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Motivation to improve services and patient care.
  • Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.
