A55 Tunnel Operations Manager (Infrastructure), Competitive Salary
Dalkia Engineering seeks a highly skilled A55 Tunnel Operations Manager to join our specialist on-site team. Key responsibilities include supervising planned tunnel road closures, conducting pre-tunnel meetings with clients, and managing subcontract labor.
Technicians must possess in-depth knowledge of economical and effective tunnel electrical installation layouts, as well as the ability to achieve high productivity levels. They must also apply a thorough working knowledge of National Working Rules, IET Wiring Regulations, Electricity at Work Regulations, and relevant British Standards.
The regional depot is based in Colwyn, North Wales, and the role involves working alongside the North and Mid Wales trunk road agency.
Key Accountabilities
- Daily interaction with client site management
- Responsible for checking plant suitability and availability
- Daily reporting to the site maintenance team and Fault coordinator
- Working shift patterns to suit contract requirements
- Promoting health and safety and ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements
- Processing RAMS and conducting Shift Briefings
Key Skills
- Must have fully met the requirements for the grade of Approved Electrician
- Must have had five years' experience working as an Approved Electrician after satisfactory completion of training and immediately prior to application for this grade
- Must have obtained a higher technical qualification, such as a City & Guilds "C" Course Certificate or a Level 4 technical certificate in Building Services Engineering with an electrical installation bias
- Must have exceptional technical skill, ability, and experience beyond that expected of an Approved Electrician
