Senior Philanthropy Officer

Wadars Animal Rescue is seeking an experienced Senior Philanthropy Officer to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising department, you will be responsible for securing significant gifts from high net worth individuals, corporations, and trusts. Your expertise in major gift fundraising will enable you to develop and implement strategies to achieve ambitious income targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive major gift fundraising strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high net worth individuals, corporations, and trusts
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including legacy and individual giving
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to achieve income targets
  • Develop and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of securing significant gifts from high net worth individuals, corporations, and trusts
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with fundraising software and systems
