About the Role

The District Nurse Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality care within their District Nursing Team. This includes ensuring the quality of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care needs and quality assurance within the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess, develop, and implement nursing care plans with patients
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and team members
  • Participate in audits
  • Provide day-to-day line and operational management for a team of registered and unregistered nurses
  • Prioritize their own workload and the work of the team
