We are partnering with a flourishing two-form entry primary school located in the vibrant borough of Camden to find an experienced Year 5 teacher.

The school holds a Good Ofsted rating report, reflecting its commitment to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for all students. As a Year 5 teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic and personal development of the children.

As a dedicated Year 5 teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 students
  2. Assessing student progress and providing timely and constructive feedback
  3. Creat[ing] a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  5. Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress

You will require:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with experience in Year 5
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
