Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level employment lawyer to support the existing workload of a busy team at WRS Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy. The role will involve advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including day-to-day employment advice, Employment Tribunal claims, and contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple files and client relationships, often as the lead client contact.
  • Advise clients on employment law matters, including day-to-day employment advice, Employment Tribunal claims, and contentious matters.
  • Draft contracts, policies, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Conduct investigations and advise on disciplinary and grievance matters.
  • Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
  • Advise individuals and senior executives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently on matters and clients with appropriate supervision.
  • Experience of conducting training for clients and supervising more junior fee earners.
  • Strong focus on building client relationships and business development.
