Key Information

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Marketing Specialist to join our team at Honda Motor Europe. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student looking for a placement as part of their studies.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will support the Honda European Motorcycles marketing team in producing and editing video and rich media content for our TikTok channel. This will involve planning, capturing, editing, and distributing content on the channel, as well as managing the community and responding to comments and messages.

You will work closely with the digital team to plan new page rollouts, ideate, create, and test content. Your responsibilities will include creating presentations, updating reports, and attending agency-facing meetings to review and propose content ideas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team in planning and filming TikTok content.
  • Editing video content to produce TikTok videos and scheduling for release.
  • Generating content ideas and reacting to trends on the TikTok platform.
  • TikTok channel monitoring and evaluation, generating reports on a consistent basis.
  • Community management of the channel – both public and private messages.
  • Supporting the digital team with planning new page rollout, ideation, creation, and testing.
  • Presentation creation, updates, and reporting of work carried out, via PowerPoint.
  • Attending agency-facing meetings, to review and propose content ideas.
  • Team admin and meeting coordination.
  • Writing Statements of Work, Privacy Impact Assessments, and raising Purchase Orders.

Salary & Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers flexible working hours, a half-day on Fridays, and the option to work from home up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in video editing, preferably using Final Cut Pro or similar software.
  • Knowledge of the TikTok platform and its capabilities.
  • Excellent people skills and strong communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
  • A full UK driving license.
