Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team as an Accounting and Reporting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a leading financial services firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports and accounts, budgeting, and monitoring actual costs. You will also be involved in payroll administration and responsibility for all of the accounting and tax requirements of the US company.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly reports and quarterly management accounts;
  • Budgeting costs and monitoring against actual;
  • Reporting variances to the management board;
  • Monitoring LLP cashflow, including bank reconciliations;
  • Preparing year-end accounts and liaising with auditors;
  • Preparing VAT returns for HM LLP;
  • Preparing LLP tax return;
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory reports to the FCA, including the ICARA;
  • Carrying out annual visits to outsourced providers and producing the compliance report on each (a regulatory requirement);
  • Payroll administration;
  • Responsibility for all of the accounting and tax requirements of the US company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An ACA qualification;
  • Experience in corporate and fund accounting;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • A strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of accounting software, such as SAP or Xero.

Salary and Benefits
