Electrical/Electronic Engineering Opportunity: Join our team at GE Grid Solutions as an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Test Engineer and take advantage of this exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing changes for test equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment will be essential in this role. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with production operators to provide training and support for effective equipment usage and develop and update work instructions, risk assessments, and operator training documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement changes for test equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with production operators to provide training and support for effective equipment usage.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for test processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment.
  • HNC/HND or Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronic-related discipline.
  • Familiarity with HVDC product testing processes is advantageous.
  • Understanding of IT requirements for test system integration, experience with Ni TestStand/LabVIEW, knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods, and familiarity with ISO standards are beneficial.
  • Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

Salary:$85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
