Job Title: Choral Musician

The Church of England is seeking a skilled Choral Musician to join our team at Liverpool Cathedral. As a Choral Musician, you will be part of a dynamic and welcoming community that values excellence, inclusivity, and dynamic spirit.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Attend all choral rehearsals and services as per the schedule
  • Participate in concert performances with the cathedral choirs, attend choir tours, and assist with the choral outreach programme
  • Develop and maintain a fine singing voice within the correct vocal ranges
  • Prepare music for services and concerts
  • Set an excellent example to the choristers in terms of deportment and behaviour


Requirements:


  • Punctuality, reliability, and respect at all times
  • Personable and honest in all work and tasks
  • Very good sight reading skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • Willingness to complete a self-declaration and make an enhanced application for DBS
  • Proof of right to work in the UK and two acceptable references
