About Our Workshop Team

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking team at Halfords, dedicated to delivering exceptional light vehicle maintenance services. As a Workshop Team Lead, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our workshop.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Workshop Management: Ensure the smooth operation of the workshop, allocating tasks to technicians based on technical requirements and customer demand.
  • Team Development: Supervise and motivate a team of technicians to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Commercial Performance: Discuss commercial priorities with the team and ensure they are focused on exceeding customer expectations.
What You Need
  • Technical Knowledge: Technically trained to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance standard or equivalent time served.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience of managing/supervising a team/workshop to drive performance and delivery.
  • Communication Abilities: Excellent customer approach ability to communicate clearly and simply to customers.
Our Benefits Package
  • Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 per annum.
  • Bonus: Average uncapped bonus of £5,800 per year (with potential to earn more).
