Medical Centre Assistant Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Medical Centre Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent patient care.

\About the Role\

The Medical Centre Assistant will work alongside our nursing staff to provide administrative support and ensure the smooth running of the Medical Centre. This will include tasks such as maintaining accurate records, preparing student notes, and dealing with telephone calls.

\Key Responsibilities\

  2. Provide administrative support to the nursing staff, including maintaining accurate records and preparing student notes.\
  3. Deal with telephone calls and respond to queries from students, parents, and staff.\
  4. Assist with general housekeeping duties, such as making beds and sorting linen.\
  5. Prepare and serve meals to patients as required.\
  6. Work effectively as part of a team to provide 24-hour cover for the students at the College.\
  7. Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.\
  8. Demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills to manage daily responsibilities.\
  9. Able to work alone and make decisions in a pressurised environment.\
  10. Empathy with young people aged 9-18.\
  11. A proactive approach to engaging young people in tasks/activities.\
  12. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.\
  13. Have a full UK Driving Licence and meet the requirement for driving College cars.\
  14. The successful candidate must be able to respond to being on-call and live within a 45-minute drive of the College.\
  15. An understanding of the National Minimum Standards required of boarding schools regarding the care of students is expected.\
  16. £24,790 per annum, Pro rata £10,013-£10,166 per annum (Including an allowance for holiday pay).\
