About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Parks Cleansing Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our parks and green spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out litter picking and bin emptying duties to ensure our parks and green spaces are clean and free of waste.
- Operate hand-held machinery for grass cutting and shrub maintenance.
- Clear flytips from parks and green spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.
Requirements
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a range of vehicles.
- Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Have knowledge of health and safety procedures and be able to apply them in the workplace.
- Possess good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Working Arrangements
You will be based at one of our two depots, Sea Mills or Cater Road, and may be required to work in other areas of the city. You will work a standard 37-hour week, with some weekend working on a rota basis.
