Apprentice Field Service Technician

Job Summary:
Luton Bennett is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Tamworth and Birmingham area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other materials handling equipment
- Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
- Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
- Manage and maintain a fully stocked van with necessary spares and tools
Requirements:
- Experience working with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical service and repair skills, with a focus on engine diagnostics and basic electrical systems
- Ideal candidate will hold a level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, such as Motor Vehicle or Plant
