About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Plant and Tool division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of our fleet of plant and tools.

The Role

As a Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for attending customer sites and breakdowns to maintain, identify, and repair any faults or damage to our fleet equipment. You will also be required to accurately update service records and provide excellent customer service.

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
  • Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A customer-focussed approach and a committed team player
  • A valid driving licence is essential
