Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our care home team in delivering exceptional person-centred care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, leading and supervising support and nursing teams, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Develop and implement evidence-based individualized care packages, therapeutic interventions, and activity programs that cater to the unique needs of our residents.
- Lead and Supervise Teams: Lead and supervise the support and nursing teams to deliver person-centred care, using clinical governance and personal development to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Assess and Support Residents: Have a good understanding of the disabilities, health, and social care needs of our residents and assist those with mobility or continence needs using the appropriate aids and equipment.
- Provide Personal Care: Provide appropriate levels of care and support to ensure that personal hygiene needs are met.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Care Home Management Experience: Must have experience in care home management, preferably in a similar setting.
- Supporting the Elderly: Experience of supporting the elderly and understanding their unique needs.
- Person-Centred Care: Strong knowledge of person-centred care principles and practices.
- Resident-Centred Approach: Ability to work closely with each resident, assessing their needs and delivering a care plan that helps each person live a fuller life.
- Quality Care: Provide the very best levels of care, ensuring all procedures are carried out to the highest standards and optimizing the wellbeing of every resident.
