Job Title: Child Support Worker

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Support Worker to join our team in Grimsby. As a Child Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to children with special educational needs (SEN), emotional or behavioral challenges, or those requiring additional support to succeed in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for children with SEN or additional needs
  • Assist children in managing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to deliver tailored support plans
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage children's independence, self-confidence, and overall personal development
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting (preferred but not essential)
  • A patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children and work as part of a team
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Passion for making a positive impact in children's lives
