Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team at phs Group. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to acquire new business from small to medium-sized customers across multiple industries in your territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our customers' needs and preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target customers to establish trust and credibility.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve new business growth targets, including cold calling, email marketing, and in-person meetings.
  • Utilize our CRM system to effectively record, manage, and develop opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering against new business growth targets.
  • Experience in a strategic hunter sales role, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • High energy and pace, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Resilient and tenacious approach to winning new business, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A valid UK driving license and a security check or willingness to obtain one.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £34,312.00, with an OTE of £59,312.00.
