Consultant in Geriatrics Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Geriatrics to join our successful Geriatrics department at a prestigious NHS Trust in Wales. As a Consultant in Geriatrics, you will provide a service mostly in Care of the Elderly and support the development of care of older persons services to the hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a service in Care of the Elderly and support the development of care of older persons services to the hospitals.
  2. Support the development of a Specialist interest.
  3. Assist and participate in the development of postgraduate training for junior and middle-grade medical staff.
  4. Act as Educational Supervisor to junior and middle-grade medical staff.

The successful candidate will be supported by a friendly and well-supported team, with opportunities for professional development and growth. The role is based in a desirable part of Wales, offering a unique blend of rural and urban living, beautiful countryside, and a dramatic natural coastline.

Requirements:

  1. Full GMC Registration.
  2. Will consider full-time or part-time applications.
  3. 10 PAs available.
  4. Prestigious NHS Trust.
  5. Well-supported and friendly team.
