Main Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly trading analysis to identify key performance indicators and provide recommendations for action.
- Review product performance and make informed decisions to maximize sales and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and manage product lines, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Develop and maintain detailed ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
- Manage critical path, stock ordering, and delivery schedules to ensure timely launches.
- Provide in-depth seasonal analysis to inform future product strategies.
- Contribute to the development of category-level frameworks and product mix plans to drive business growth.
- Support the merchandising team with product selections and range building.
- Work cross-functionally with the wider business to ensure overall business objectives are met.
Requirements
- Experience in fashion retail merchandising, preferably as an Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced planning and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to suggest calculated risks and make informed decisions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong customer awareness and understanding.
