About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our UK Wastewater Services team at Hydro International, a CRH Company. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, set up, and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
  • Carry out site inspections and fault finding, compiling survey reports for quotation purposes.
  • Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
  • Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
  • Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
  • Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current valid driving license.
  • City & Guilds qualification.
  • Served a recognized mechanical apprenticeship.
