We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our UK Wastewater Services team at Hydro International, a CRH Company. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities- Install, commission, set up, and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
- Carry out site inspections and fault finding, compiling survey reports for quotation purposes.
- Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
- Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
- Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
- Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current valid driving license.
- City & Guilds qualification.
- Served a recognized mechanical apprenticeship.
As a Mechanical Engineer at Hydro International, you can expect:
