About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a well-established Electronic Measurement Systems team providing a mixed portfolio of both new and mature capabilities to the aftermarket.

As an Electronic Measurement Systems Team Leader, you will be accountable for all aspects of measurement methods and capability to support experimental, production and aftermarket requirements.

Part of the aftermarket business requires the supply, calibration and maintenance of Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), equipment that is used during engine maintenance to determine the operability of the engine or a specific part of it.

This is a customer-facing role servicing over 200 customers worldwide, and dealing with a number of strategic suppliers to deliver new, and to repair/maintain existing products.

The role is broad and would benefit an individual who is able to adopt an overview technical understanding of the product domain to supplement the required engineering logistical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Electronic Measurement Systems team leader
  • Act as an interface for customer and strategic supplier orders and enquiries
  • Liaise with the technical resource in the team to resolve issues
  • Assist in managing the supply chain
  • Monitor new product and repair delivery to agreed plans and service levels
  • Communicate progress to customers and stakeholders
