Clerical Support Officer - Temporary Position

South Ayrshire Council is seeking a Clerical Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Head Teacher on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience of working in an administrative role.

Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records and databases, preparing reports and presentations as required, and providing general administrative support to the Head Teacher and other senior staff members.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a busy school environment. The successful candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to any formal offer of employment being made. Candidates may also be required to meet the cost of PVG membership.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure

Salary: £25,148 - £25,714 per annum
