Job Summary

Aspion is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Staff Management and Training: Supervise and train a team of warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are accurate and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the warehouse is a safe and healthy place to work.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery in the warehouse, ensuring that they are in good working order at all times.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and that all transportation costs are minimized.
Requirements
  • Full Clean Manual Driving Licence: Required for the safe operation of company vehicles.
  • Experience of Managing a Small Team: Proven ability to supervise and train a team of staff.
  • Experience of Managing a Warehouse: Proven experience of managing a warehouse, including inventory management, health and safety, and equipment maintenance.
  • FLT Counter Balance Licence: Required for the safe operation of forklift trucks.
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to Plan Work Schedules and Manage Budgets: Proven ability to plan and manage work schedules and budgets.
