About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK. As a key member of our patient transport service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of vulnerable service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and caring service for all patients whilst in our care, ensuring patient safety remains paramount.
  • Support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
  • Support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed according to current policies and procedures.
  • Be able to attend the office within one hour during on-call shifts.
  • Use Company vehicles and equipment safely and respectfully.
  • Administer first aid and provide social care in non-emergency situations.
  • Ensure statutory regulations and organisational policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
Person Specification
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS (paid for by company).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
