About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation services to patients in need of mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from mental health facilities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transportation, promoting a calm and comfortable environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and transportation.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate within the last 3 years (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing patient care and safety.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
