Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our General Counsel in providing general legal assistance and furthering the Company's day-to-day operations.

Job Summary:

• This role will administer and oversee insurance agent/agency licensing compliance program, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• This role will support the Company's contract review and management process, evaluate agreements and negotiate terms.
• This role will provide general legal support with pre-litigation disputes, litigation, and regulatory complaints, apply analytical skills and judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative tasks: Manage compliance program, maintain records, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Contract review and negotiation: Evaluate agreements, negotiate terms, and facilitate signings.
• Legal support: Provide assistance with disputes, litigation, and regulatory complaints, utilizing analytical skills and judgment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification with 3+ years of relevant business experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of compliance related to administrative filings is preferred.
• Litigation experience is valued but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational abilities are essential.
