We are National Grid Electricity Distribution, serving over 8 million people across the Midlands, Southwest England, and South Wales. As a Distribution System Operator (DSO), you will play a key role in delivering heat, light, and power to homes and businesses while working towards a greener future.

In this role, you will analyze networks for long-term planning and strategic investment options, manage commercial interfaces with the National Energy System Operator, and drive innovative initiatives at the transmission-distribution interface. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that meet customer needs.

You will join our 18-month graduate programme, which includes tailored development sessions, coaching, and mentorship. Our programme is designed to equip you with the skills needed to succeed in the energy sector, including leadership, business, and technical expertise. You will also have opportunities to work on real-world projects and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a sustainable energy future.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong academic record in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Sciences, or Data Science.
