As a Senior Physiotherapist - Musculoskeletal and Spinal Care, you will be responsible for providing expert physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and discharge of patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, specialising in complex spinal problems.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working at a senior level as a physiotherapist in musculoskeletal outpatients, with experience in all core areas. Experience gained in a Private Hospital healthcare setting is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and discharge of patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans, utilising clinical and organisational skills to meet the needs of patients and The Clinic.
  • Work multi-professionally with consultants, nurses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals and agencies.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the spinal service, driving service development and influencing clinical practices to enhance quality, productivity, and value.
  • Deliver and implement pain groups as part of the multi-disciplinary management of patients with persistent pain.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working at a senior level as a physiotherapist in musculoskeletal outpatients.
  • Experience in managing patients with persistent pain.
  • Experience in leading quality improvement projects and/or audit.
  • Experience in line managing junior staff members.
  • High levels of communication skills to coach, mediate, negotiate, present, and train.
