The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the construction industry, including health, safety, and welfare issues, as well as experience with Microsoft Office, Autocad, and IT-based surveying equipment.

**Job Description:**

  • Lead the development, design, and construction of new and refurbishment projects
  • Collaborate with contractors and consultants to ensure project success
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and welfare
  • Manage people and stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrate understanding of the construction procurement process through design, tendering, and construction

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Knowledge and understanding of the issues involved in the field of Civil/Structural engineering
  • Knowledge and understanding of the construction procurement process through design, tendering, and construction
  • Knowledge and understanding of health, safety, and welfare issues associated with the design, construction, and life of projects
  • Computer literacy and competence in the use of Microsoft Office, Autocad, and IT-based surveying equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills

**Salary and Benefits:**

The salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a hybrid role with a pension scheme, requiring a valid clean driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel throughout Ireland.
