Job Title: Lead CFD Process Engineer

Williams is seeking a highly skilled Lead CFD Process Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our next-generation CFD workflows and processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a strong background in CFD methodology and software development, with a minimum of 7 years of technical experience in an industrial role. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux systems and services, HPC, and coding experience using Python, C#, and Linux shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical solutions for the CFD workflow using the latest technologies integrated into the wider digital workspace.
  • Work closely with the Head of CFD and other key senior leadership to define longer-term strategies for the CFD pipeline and toolkits.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, process, and IT engineers to deliver effective CFD workflows and maximize performance on the car.
Requirements
  • Strong background in CFD methodology and software development.
  • Minimum of 7 years technical experience in an industrial role.
  • Experience with Linux systems and services, HPC.
  • Coding experience using Python, C#, and Linux shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with software best practices, containerization, micro-services.
  • Experience in Agile working environments, CI/CD, and PRs, ideally using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience of Agile working practice, preferably the Scrum framework.
