About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CFD Process Engineer to join our team at Williams. As a key member of our Aerodynamics Department, you will be responsible for leading the development of our next-generation CFD workflows and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to design and implement an optimized end-to-end CFD process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across aerodynamic development, CFD correlation, and CFD methodology to identify opportunities for efficiency and knowledge extraction.
  • Work with hardware, software, process, and IT engineers to develop technical solutions for the CFD workflow using the latest technologies.
  • Contribute to the strategy and roadmaps for the CFD process and align projects with defined goals.
Requirements
  • Strong background in CFD methodology and software development.
  • Previous leadership experience in a technical environment, preferably in the F1 industry.
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in an industrial role.
  • Proven track record in delivering solutions across an entire CFD workflow.
  • Experience with OpenFOAM and ParaView.
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and services, HPC.
  • Coding experience using Python, C#, and Linux shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with software best practices, containerization, and microservices.
  • Experience in Agile working environments, CI/CD, and PRs, preferably using Azure DevOps.
