We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance department at NEXT Retail Ltd.

About the Job

The role of Assistant Finance Analyst sits within our friendly and passionate Finance team, providing support to the Finance Analyst in producing and providing accurate reporting on Retail store sales, margins and operating costs.

You will be responsible for administration of capital expenditure on all projects, business partnering with key stakeholders in the Creation and Marketing teams, reporting on key performance indicators and cost control to ensure the business grows profitably.

In this integral role, you will also support in the monthly creation of the Management Accounts pack, focusing on key schedules including but not exclusively Store Payroll, Store Costs, Net Margin and Overheads.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Finance Analyst in producing and providing accurate reporting on Retail store sales, margins and operating costs.
  • Administration of capital expenditure on all projects.
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders in the Creation and Marketing teams.
  • Reporting on key performance indicators and cost control.

**Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine interest in finance and a keen eye for detail. You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or have part-qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have previous experience in a financial role, with a strong focus on data accuracy.

**What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health and wellbeing benefits, life assurance, and pension contributions.
