About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our small but extremely busy Licensing team as an Assistant Licensing Enforcement Officer.

As part of this team, you will support and assist with receiving and processing applications for various licenses and consents. You will provide expert advice and guidance to applicants, ensuring compliance with policy and legislative requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include dealing with low-level complaints, conducting inspections, and providing enforcement action when necessary. Over time, you will progress to handling more complex cases and investigations.

You must be an excellent communicator, able to liaise effectively with businesses, agencies, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate may also be enrolled in a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship scheme.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
