About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Healthcare Solutions Director to join our team as an Engagement Manager in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Strategy and Implementation within our EMEA Real World Methods and Evidence Generation (RW MEG) team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and leading the team's health technology assessment (HTA) and strategic offerings with a focus on the new EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) and Joint Scientific Consultation (JSC) processes. Key responsibilities include supporting business development, managing project delivery teams, driving overall project strategy and quality of deliverables, and training junior members of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support business development through proposal writing, client engagement, and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Manage project delivery teams, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, focusing on HTA and JCA/JSC processes.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical consultants, market access specialists, and database experts.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., HTA, health economics, health policy, medicine, pharmacy, epidemiology, public health).
  • At least 6 years of experience in preparing evidence submissions, scientific advice briefing books, or similar tasks, aligned with HTA agency requirements in Europe or other geographies.
  • Deep understanding of HTA systems in Europe and pharmaceutical industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and existing network of HEOR contacts.
  • Programme management experience in a consulting environment.
  • Previous experience with EUnetHTA Joint Actions or EU JCA/JSC projects is highly desirable.
