Our client is an ambitious start-up pioneering sensor technology that drives sustainability in the environmental tech space. With recent Series A funding, they're scaling quickly and seeking a self-motivated, sales-driven individual to expand their reach in key markets worldwide.
Job Description:- Role: Technical Business Development Manager
- Responsibilities:
- Build and develop new customer relationships in assigned sales verticals.
- Regular client visits to understand needs and secure alignment with solutions.
- Accurately forecast and report on your sales pipeline and results.
- Identify new markets and expand cross-functional opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Over time, develop networks with customers to inform future product development.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, ideally with innovative or disruptive technology.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a 'hunter' mindset.
- Background of selling into Environmental/Water sectors.
- Highly motivated and comfortable with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and ease working across internal teams.
- Familiarity with MS Office and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
- Knowledge of the water/environmental industry is a bonus but not essential.
- Benefits:
- Base salary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum
- First-year OTE: £100,000 (uncapped)
- Second-year OTE: up to £140,000
- Fully remote, with occasional visits to the UK office (1-2 times a month)
