Job Description:
  • Role: Technical Business Development Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Build and develop new customer relationships in assigned sales verticals.
    • Regular client visits to understand needs and secure alignment with solutions.
    • Accurately forecast and report on your sales pipeline and results.
    • Identify new markets and expand cross-functional opportunities.
    • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
    • Over time, develop networks with customers to inform future product development.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, ideally with innovative or disruptive technology.
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a 'hunter' mindset.
    • Background of selling into Environmental/Water sectors.
    • Highly motivated and comfortable with minimal supervision.
    • Strong communication skills and ease working across internal teams.
    • Familiarity with MS Office and CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
    • Knowledge of the water/environmental industry is a bonus but not essential.
  • Benefits:
    • Base salary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum
    • First-year OTE: £100,000 (uncapped)
    • Second-year OTE: up to £140,000
    • Fully remote, with occasional visits to the UK office (1-2 times a month)
