Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Focused Anaesthesia Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Anaesthesia team at Dick White Referrals, one of the largest specialist multi-disciplinary veterinary referral centres in Europe.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Veterinary Anaesthesia Specialist or Resident, examining animals undergoing sedation and anaesthesia, and reporting to a veterinary Surgeon in the team to plan the protocol.
The role involves administering sedations, anaesthetics and monitoring Anaesthesia under the supervision of a veterinary Surgeon. Additionally, the nurse will help set up anaesthetic equipment and oversee stock levels of anaesthetic consumables in MRI, CT and X-ray units.
Working ArrangementsThis is a full-time position, working a 40-hour week (Monday - Friday) with the potential to work 5 x 8 hour shifts or 4 x 10 hours between 8am-6pm. Our anaesthesia nurses participate in the on-call rota alongside our senior anaesthetists for weekends and bank holidays.
Compensation and Benefits- A competitive salary of £28,000-£31,000 per annum, plus a £3000 annual on-call bonus payment.
