Inventory Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic Theatres and Critical Care (TCCA) team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the stores team, you will play a vital role in maintaining optimal stock levels to support exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Collaborate with the stores team to ensure seamless stock management, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
- Perform regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital policies.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient stock delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of stock management processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
