Job Description

A leading FMCG Chilled Foods Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Training Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.

This role offers fantastic learning and development opportunities for you to grow your career and work with key stakeholders on site and within Group.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out regular risk assessments and maintain records to ensure management have access to up-to-date safety information.
  2. Assist in maintaining standard operational procedures that identify and account for all relevant hazards.
  3. Oversee the development and implementation of safe working procedures and assist with reviewing and writing new processes.
  4. Evaluate and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local regulations.
  5. Advise employees and management on regulatory issues and maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws and standards.
  6. Develop and deliver in-house training and manage training records and compliance reporting.
  7. Compile incident statistics and support the company's objectives for a zero-harm culture.
  8. Perform internal health and safety audits and prepare for external audits.
  9. Investigate and report on accidents and incidents.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced health and safety professional with a strong background in FMCG manufacturing. A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is required, along with excellent training and presentation skills.
