We are seeking a highly skilled Contractor Engineering Manager to join our team at Matchtech. This is a six-month contract position that falls outside IR35 regulations, offering a unique opportunity to work with a prominent player in the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and agree on engineering processes and deliverables for rail infrastructure projects
  2. Prepare and manage design reviews, ensuring seamless collaboration with design teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders
  3. Review detailed documentation, including Task Briefs, Work Package Plans, and design specifics

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Contractor Engineering Manager on rail infrastructure projects, with a strong background in engineering management and a proven track record of developing and agreeing on engineering processes and deliverables.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a CEM on rail infrastructure projects
  2. Strong engineering management skills
  3. Ability to effectively develop and agree on engineering processes and deliverables
  4. Proficiency in preparing and managing design reviews
  5. Competence in arranging and participating in meetings with various stakeholders
  6. Experience in reviewing detailed documentation
  7. Sentinel competency
  8. Degree in an engineering discipline
  9. Previously held CEM status
