Site Engineer Opportunity - Rail Infrastructure

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on behalf of a leading company within the rail infrastructure sector, based in the central belt of Scotland. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team working on significant infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set out, level, and survey sites for rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
  • Interpret project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and provide technical guidance as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer in rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in using surveying instruments such as total stations and GPS equipment.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and setting out processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • CSCS card and relevant industry certifications.
