Kitchen Leadership Opportunity

Medirest is seeking a skilled Chef to join our team as a Kitchen Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, developing menu changes, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menu changes to meet client expectations
  • Supervise the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food preparation
  • Act on customer feedback to continuously improve our food services
  • Create new menus and innovative food concepts to delight our clients
  • Maintain a positive brand image and represent Medirest with pride
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure our kitchens are well-equipped
  • Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to uphold hygiene standards
  • Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
  • Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • Certified in City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Proven experience as a team leader
  • Relevant experience in a similar Chef role
  • Food Hygiene certification
  • Ability to work flexibly
