Industrial Automation Expert

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer to join our team in Banbury. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the Critical Control Network - CCN and systems according to the defined strategy. This will involve providing technical support where required, working closely with process improvement teams to deliver projects, and leading the site automation team.
You will be responsible for delivering a Quality culture and role modeling behaviors, ensuring compliance to Personal Protective Equipment – PPE and necessary safety tools, carrying out Behavior Observation Safety – BOS and Ongoing Feedback System - OFS to the required standard, and following safety instructions and working safely & orderly using as an example Lock Out Tag Out Test Out – LOTOTO and permit to work – PTW.
You will also be accountable for the Critical Control Network - CCN and systems, including developing strategy of Manufacturing Execution System – MES priority set up and development of guidelines in line with company strategic plans. This will involve manufacturing applications support, maintenance, and development, including lifecycle planning, systems contract management, managing the Plant Systems Budget, ensuring manufacturing process continuity by recovering services with minimal shutdown time, and utilizing support of external suppliers or other contractual partners.
The estimated salary for this position is £58,000-£78,000 per year, depending on experience.
