About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our Civil Structures team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects, including bridges and ancillary structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, and assist in mentoring and developing others.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
  • 5+ years relevant post-qualification structures design experience and a strong successful record of project delivery in structures design.
  • Significant experience with design to Eurocodes and DMRB.
  • Proficient with structural design and analysis software such as STRAP, Autodesk Bridge Design, LUSAS or similar.
  • Chartered Membership of the ICE or IStructE, or working towards chartership with a view to imminent completion of IPD.
  • A full UK driving licence.
