Tax Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in Chesterfield. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for delivering expert tax advice and ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a diverse range of clients and deliver high-quality tax services
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies
- Support senior managers with the development and implementation of tax strategies
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on tax matters
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional growth and development
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly

- Qualified by experience also considered
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and experience in tax advisory and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Proven experience in managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality tax services
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is desirable
