Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Compliance Engineer to join our Centre of Excellence for vehicle manufacturing. As a Materials Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with national, European, and international regulations related to substances and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations such as POP, REACH, CLP, ELV, RRR, and more.
  2. Materials Testing: Test materials, parts, and vehicles for emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to control vehicle interior air quality.
  3. Compliance Reporting: Present vehicle compliance status reports to senior management, aligning with vehicle development milestones.
  4. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally across R&D, Manufacturing, After-sales, and more, supporting Parts Design, Vehicle Development, and Materials Testing/Validation.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of International Material Data System (IMDS) and iPoint Software, with extensive industry experience.
  2. Education: Degree in chemistry/materials science or equivalent.
  3. Skills: Proven experience in compliance or regulatory activities, preferably related to substances and materials, with ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects.
