About this Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Academic Manager, responsible for supporting the Director of Studies in managing and delivering the academic programme at our residential summer schools.

You will play a key role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of our programmes, working closely with our experienced Summer Centres Head Office Team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent teaching and leadership skills, able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Job Description
  • Support the Director of Studies in the preparation, coordination, and teaching of English classes.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating varied teaching methods and materials.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to facilitate improvement.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of CPD training for all teachers.
Requirements
  • TEFLQ diploma in ELT/TESOL as specified by the British Council.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and/or Ireland.
  • Aged 18 or over.
  • Clear DBS / Garda Vetting (to be carried out by the company).
